The Monday margin watch that reads jobs, not people
A 60 to 99 person media and creative agency with 8 fixed-fee client contracts only saw overruns at month-end close, after extra rounds were delivered, and had to price renewals from those late totals.
Fixed-fee overruns found only at month-end close
Each Monday, fixed rules read the agency's timesheet export by job, with person ids dropped at load, and hold any job with a missing week. Flagged overruns are traced to rows and contract clauses by cause. An account lead approves scope-change notes, and a fee scenario gives renewal ranges. No model runs.
- 1,124 timesheet rows read, 31 person ids dropped at load, 0 found in any output file
- of the 2 overruns we planted, 1 flagged on the first Monday it could be seen and the other 2 Mondays later; 0 flags on unplanted jobs
- Agency timesheet export
- Rules engine (versioned, no model)
- Freshness gate
- Cause tracer
- Scope-change drafter
- Fee scenario ranges
- Puppeteer screen capture

The retainer, on the record
all 6 approved spend changes carry a named approver, and the gate sent 1 approval back for a missing reason

The coordinator job we rebuilt before it was posted
7 of the 9 bullets on the drafted coordinator posting now run as fixed workflows; 2 stay with people

The clip desk that reads its own drop-off
the desk pinned 6 of 6 drops to a transcript line and an export row; against the drops we designed into the curves ourselves, it found 6 of 6 and 0 of 1 decoy dips fired
